With the New York Auto Show just around the corner, GM has announced in a press release that it will be debuting a joint venture vehicle designed with Segway. In June 2007, we saw the rise of the mighty iPhone; you know a phone is pure gold when you sell 270,000 units within the first 30 hours of launch. If that wasn’t impressive enough, Apple decided to add 3G, a few new features, and a sleek new design, all at a solid price point. More than 5.2 million units sold later, Apple is near the top of the mobile phone market, edging out a longstanding leader — Blackberry.

Metric is one of my favourite indie bands out there, they’ve just got this awesome flow. Needless to say when I caught wind of the upcoming release I searched high and low for the album. My first thoughts after hearing about the album were immediately, “Wow, I hope this doesn’t suck as much as her solo project.” After all, it has been quite some time since the band last hit fans with their album in 2005. A lot of things can happen within a four year span. I mean, Emily’s Haines and the Soft Skeleton were featured on an episode of Grey’s Anatomy.
