This is hilarious. And I’m not going to make any promises as to how much basketball content will make it to this site, but this needed to be acknowledged. First of all, I am an absolute avid Lakers fan and hope the best for Kobe and the Purple and Gold this season. And if all goes well, this will be their year and Kobe will get his vindication post-Shaq. But none of that is important.

After months on the glow-in-the-dark tour, the biggest surprise on stage was rarely seeing Chris Brown spazz out with N.E.R.D., it was the mysterious pair of Nikes Kanye was wearing on stage. And how did it glow? What’s more is that people claimed to first notice the pair at the Grammy’s this past February, where his black/white colourway on the international stage basically defined its impending release.

In a summer absolutely jam-packed with high-budget action films, “Where the Wild Things Are”, a children’s picture book written in 1964 by Maurice Sendak is being adapted by Spike Jonze, famed music-video director / skateboarder / friend of Jackass guys. The story details the imaginary visions of a young, mischevous, wolf-suit wearing boy Max, who is being punished without supper. At just ten sentences long, the book’s adaptation has had many disputing the creation of this feature and just about everyone is worried about the results.

What Happened Today is Both Incredible and Bad

The Lonely Island released “Incredibad” this February and have been getting more love than ever for their expanding arsenal of powerful friends. Akiva Schaffer, Andy Samberg and Jorma Taccone migrated from Berkely, CA to New York’s Saturday Night Live set after years of fooling around and an opportunity to write some skits for the MTV Movie Awards in 2005. Their impact on the show was almost immediate with explosively-popular digital shorts and skits like the Chronicles of Narnia-themed “Lazy Sunday”, OC-inspired “Dear Sister” with Shia Labeouf, Jodeci-rip “Dick In a Box” with Justin Timberlake, “I’m On a Boat” with T-Pain and Lonely Island original “Jizz In My Pants.”
